Bennet Ratcliff
Town Board member and Writer in Woodstock, NY
I am an elected member of the Woodstock Town Board. I concentrate on environmental issues and transparency in government. I am working to help create a community where we can live affordably and work successfully while enjoying the unique qualities of rural life and protecting the Catskill mountains.
On the Town Board, I focus on local solutions to global challenges like climate change, social justice, and rural gentrification by creating an open government where everyone's ideas are welcome. We all belong in Woodstock's community of the arts.
I live in Bearsville with my partner Jackie Kellachan. My nature writing and photos are published locally and can also be found on Linktree. My writing focuses on how the permeable quality of time can be experienced in the Catskill Mountains.
